The Crimson White (CW) is the student news organization and Paper of Record for The University of Alabama. 15,000 papers are circulated daily throughout UA’s campus and the Tuscaloosa area. Students work in all areas of the paper. The publication has won numerous awards, including Collegiate Crown Awards and Gold Circle Awards. The CW has also been one of the top winners at the annual Southeastern Journalism Conference. In 2015, The CW was awarded the National Pacemaker Award, the highest award in collegiate journalism. The award is commonly referred to as “the Pulitzer Prize of collegiate journalism.”
